Dear Mrs Woodholme,
Just a couple of lines to wish you a very happy retirement, and to tell you what a
difference you made to me. It wasn’t only your Science lessons that were fun, but also
the stories you told us about your own kids, and funny stuff that had happened to you.
You made us feel that we really knew you as a person, not just a teacher. That got me
liking your subjects. I think I might train to be a teacher myself when I leave Hazeldean.
Anyway, I’m sure I’ll see you around town now and then.
Enjoy your freedom!
