Jesus referred to Adam and Eve as the first male and female, making their union the basis of marriage. See Matt.19:4. Saint Paul tells us that one man, that is Adam, brought death to all men (Rom. 5:12, 14). Paul compares the first Adam with Christ, the last Adam. 1Cor. 15:45 Paul tells us that Adam was first formed, then Eve. (1Tim. 2:13-14) So if one denies the literal history of Adam and Eve, they are disagreeing with Christ, Saint Paul, Luke, Moses, Saint Matthew and the author of 1Chron
